The Liturgical Dance Ministry, "In Motion With Praise" was established the summer of 2003 with the goal of providing an "outreach" to anyone interested in liturgical dance.
In a Christian environment, dance steps and movements are learned that interpret Scripture, hymns, anthems or pre-recorded music. Using our God-given talents, we strive to reach a stronger sense of self-awareness, confidence and purpose as we become aware of how God is using us to praise Him in worship through dance.
Our motto is "IN MOTION WITH GUIDANCE* (and praise!) (*God, U and I Dance!).
"In Motion with Praise" is for all interested youth and adults.
"Children In Motion With Praise" is for children who are ages 6 and older.
Rehearsals are not ongoing, but are scheduled as needed to prepare specific choreography for serving in worship. Rehearsals are usually Sunday afternoons and/or Wednesday evenings, but are scheduled with flexibility to fit the dancers' schedules.
We are ALWAYS interested in adding new members!!!
You need not be accomplished .... you just need a desire to serve and praise God through the art of dance.
