Office Moms
Office Moms is a practical way to support local Child Welfare Case Workers, and also care for Foster Kids that have recently been removed from their home. The purpose of Office Moms is to provide a grown-up whose only job at that moment is to care for, sit with, and entertain the children while a caseworker finds a foster care placement for them. This can be one of the most frightening times of their lives. We care for the kids, and we love on the social workers, who are doing the best job they possibly can with the resources they have.
Office Moms is an "on-call" volunteer commitment. When caseworkers need help, they call our Office Moms coordinator, who then contacts the volunteers to see if someone is available.
