Children 1st
We take great care in helping nurture relationships between children and Jesus Christ. At 1st UMC we believe it is the responsibility of the entire congregation to support, teach and guide children and in their faith journey.
In Kids Own Worship, the children are learning more about the different elements of worship, getting reminders about things learned in VBS and Sunday School, and enjoying the talents of a number of guests playing everything from oboes and the piano to the ukelele.
We continue partnering with parents to help children
learn and apply Christian values. Through the teaching of Biblical principles we help children develop a closer relationship with Christ.
