I'm New Here!
Let's be honest. It's hard to be new. In a place where you don't know anyone, everyone else seems to know everyone (you get what we mean). Sometimes it's hard to meet people, even when you're making an effort. We want to make sure the pathways to connection are clear and simple. Here are some great ways to connect at House of Providence.
1. Participate on Sundays
This may seem too obvious... but this is a great place to connect! On Sunday we gather together to sing, pray and listen to the preaching of the Scriptures, believing that these practices are central to following Christ in community. It’s a good place to meet people, especially if you hang out by the coffee table before the service! More on Sundays.
2. Engage in a Community
At House of Providence we have Home Communities, Men and Women’s gatherings and Refuge. Each community is different, but these smaller groups are a great way to meet people in comfortable environments. You can browse the "Community" page or click on the link over here ----> and we'll connect you with some great people.
3. Volunteer
Sometimes it’s easier to get to know people when you’re working on a task together. Whether it’s holding babies in the nursery, hauling stuff with the set-up team or brewing some coffee, there are great people to serve alongside.
