Andover Christian Church is a commuity of Christians, a family of God. As such we demonstrate God's love by providing care, support, and assistance to those in our fellowship who are in need.
The Care Ministry focuses on the needs of those who are involved in the congregation, either by their membership or their regular attendance.
Areas of focus for the Care Ministry:
Meals: During times of crisis or need meals can be provided for you and your family.Transportation: On a limited basis transportation may be provided to church services, doctor's appointments for other needed occasions.Cards and Notes: A card and note of encouragement can be sent to those who are ill, hospitalized or grieving.Maintenance and repair: If you have house problems, appliance problems, car problems and you cannot do the work yourself and cannot afford to pay a contractor for the needed repair the Care Ministry may be able to find someone to help you with your need.Financial Help: The Care Ministry has a Benevolence Fund that can be used for crisis situations. Disbursements from this fund are given as gifts. Financial counseling is also available to those who need help with their finances and may or may not be required when drawing from this fund. All inquiries and assistance are strictly confidential.Other needs: The Care Ministry may be able to help you with other needs and can assist you in finding community resources to help you meet those needs.If you know of someone in need within our church family or you yourself are in need, please contact the Care Ministry by calling the church office at 763-755-2537.
